Woodinville, Wash. – March 20, 2003 – The PoliteChild today announced that it has begun offering its SocialSmarts™ program in Southern California.

“We are truly excited to have our program offered outside Washington State,” said The PoliteChild’s President and Founder, Corinne Gregory. “In spite of the soft economy, our program offerings are in high demand, not just in our own home state, but clearly beyond.”

The PoliteChild began teaching its SocialSmarts for Teens course to the entire 8th grade class of Sacred Heart Catholic School in Palm Desert in late February. It has since started additional courses at Marywood Country Day School in nearby Rancho Mirage. All of the current PoliteChild course offerings are filled to capacity, but the Company is already in further communications with other schools and organizations in the immediate area, including one of the prominent public school districts.

“It’s clear that our society is recognizing the importance of improved social skills and behaviors in our young people,” Corinne Gregory stated. “The demand for our classes and the unique way we work to develop kids that are socially confident and socially adept validates that we provide a much-needed service.”
