 Jill
Schmidt, Creative Director. After juggling a career in advertising
design with raising two fabulous kids, she decided it was time for something
completely different. Jill always liked to draw so she worked to become
an illustrator. Spending time with her kids, the Frog Princess and X-man,
showed her how important art was in their lives. They spent lots of time
looking at pictures in their favorite books. Their favorite pictures were
either of something whimsical or magical. Jill always has some humor,
action, or fantasy in her drawings so kids will want to pay attention
to the subject matter they illustrate. Having sent both kids off to college,
she now has time to work on illustrations for several books. In her spare
time she serves as an Arts Commissioner for the city of Redmond, WA. |
